hi sorry to be a pain, but i'm trying to create cc and i can't because every time i load s4s, i get the following error

i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting the content folder in my sims 4 folder, turning off my antivirus and reinstalling, repairing my game etc. nothing has worked yet. i did have a corrupted account on my pc, but it's been deleted, and this happens on any and all administrator accounts on my pc.

Hi. Try the following:
1). Your documents path is a bit strange, there should be no One drive in it. Could you try seeing if there is another Documents folder in this path?

2). Try deleting Strings_CHS_CN.package in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Data\Client\
3). Try repairing the game
4). We had another person with a similar issue a few days ago, s4s also could not load Strings_CHS_CN.package but in a different folder. The only thing that worked for them was re-installing the game. I assume maxis somehow changed the files related to the chinese language of the game and s4s has problems with them

thank you so much for responding! i tried all of that but none of it worked. i will try reinstalling the game over the weekend, however should that not work is there anything else you might be able to recommend?

i've just noticed that when i deleted the string that you mentioned, when i get the error the next time, it says the next string in the list cannot be found so first it was CHS and then CHT and now it's CZE. are these files significant? i only ever play the game in english, but i don't want to delete language files if they're required.

Every pack has a string for chinese language, it is possible there’s something wrong with all of them
