Hello. I want to change from full-body clothes to tops. Therefore, I deleted the mesh of the skirt part with blender. However, the skirt mesh disappears in edit mode but not in object mode. photo1I imported the mesh into sims4studio for confirmation. And, after all, the skirt part has not disappeared.photo2Does anyone know the cause? What i am using blender2.78a sims4studio 1.3.3.6 macOS sierra 10.12.6 I'm sorry if it sounds rude. I am a Japanese who is not good at English. Thank you.

enable sharing please. Also, check out this thread. Most likely you are importing a blend file that has less meshgroups than the package, so they are not being replaced

Hello. Thanks for the reply. I shared the files exactly as you told me. I checked the S4S from other devices, but I could see the photo. However, it seems that it takes some time to load. The problem is what's happening inside the blender. I removed the skirt from the dress, but the mesh on the skirt still remains. The skirt mesh is definitely gone on the edit mode screen. However, the skirt is displayed on the object mode screen. The cut number is 0000. Is this the problem that the cut numbers do not match? I had never had this problem when I was creating custom content before. I don't know what to do. photo1photo2(If you can't see the image again, please let me know as I will consider another method.) Thank you.

The images load fine now, must have been a glitch.
To clarify: you delete the mesh in Edit mode, switch to Object mode, and it re-appears, right? You’re not talking about what the mesh looks like in s4s, the issue is present in blender before you import it in s4s, right? Could you please share the blend file where this issue happens?

This problem is just as you said. I have attached the blender file. If you can't download, please let me know. Thank you. Blender

Oh, you did not delete it, you hid it. - switch to edit mode, press A to deselect everything; - press Alt H to unhide the hidden area; - press Delete button on your keyboard, then choose Faces.
There is one problem, though. If you were to expand the list of uv maps, you'd see that there are three of them instead of two. When you join two meshes, the uv maps must have identical names to be joined as well. - select UV_1, in UV editor press B, click-and-drag to select the uvs of the top. Don't use A to select everything because the uvs of the rest of the mesh are smacked into one, you dont want to select that; - so after that in 3d view press P, choose Selection to separate that area again; - select the separated area and delete uv_1, then rename UV_1 to uv_1; - join it back with the other part of the top; - delete UV_1.
