I have a weird bug with my Wishes version of S4S (V3.1.5.6). 1) It is impossible to export all three wall heights in one operation - they will stored as PNG-files only. The Files named e.g.: kurz_DiffuseMap.png 2)And exporting them one by one, only the DDS-file from the middle wall ist well - the other ones showing transparent area with a large white line on the left. When I copy the picture from the middle one to the others and reload the files into S4S they'll shown up correctly, so do ingame. I tried to add other color versions for my own use. They're not meant to be published somewhere. That was no problem with the floors. And I can add standalone new items (pictures) from vanilla pictures of the base game (they're also not meant to be published). www.mediafire.com/folder/ks5nl5jzhx23rq6,84631utfxv8i4wp,s62393ko4whvxbr,9z92c0okpkya55b,vj2c8db4o1j4y62,ol1gj3900hr2vvx,d3l5exhnv6w7s0i,wdzfyx21jdbguia/shared The original CC can be found here: www.thesimsresource.com/artists/Pralinesims/downloads/details/category/sims4-walls/title/bricks-2/id/1300615/

Hi. 1). Yeah, s4s always exports in png when in bulk 2). I'm able to export them one by one as dds with no problem, but i have the latest version of s4s. You should try updating to the latest as well. I dont remember this being an issue with any old version but who knows.
When I open 01.dds you shared, it looks fine in photoshop, not like what you captured on the screenshot. It is unlikely that GIMP would have a problem with a single file but, just to test, you could try opening it in Photopea (free online photoshop alternative)

Yeah thank you for help. Gimp has no problems with other exported dds from S4S. After some hours of testing around - I think I got a clue. There is a checkbox in the section of textures calling "Autoresize Textures". If I turn it off - the textures are exported as well as all other ones. Thats funny - I thought I tested it before, too. Normally I didn't expect that could cause a problem - I thought, it generates all other sizes automatically after import one of the sizes. So I guess, there were 2 Problems - the one in front of the monitor and an inappropriate label. It seems the checkbox means, that all sizes should import the texture of the middle size only wich is stretched if needed. And yes - I should upgrade Thank you! Edit: Now it's getting strange... after preparing about 10 walls I now get transparent dds again. I'm at a loss... Edit2: Freaky - exporting one of the files I already managed to add new color textures - looking pretty fine in GIMP. But - and that's really, really weird: the transparent files have a correct thumbnail in windows filesexplorer. I don't know, what to say - I didn't see such a behaviour of a file anytime before And no: there's no virus on my system ... Edit3: I uploaded the maybe-broken file to Photopea - it looks fine there. So I stored it as a dds-file again - and voilá GIMP shows a correct file. This make me wonder, if there is a setting I missed or if there ist a problem with the original dds-file within the package?

Okay, I installed version 3.1.5.8 - but its the same here. And no reaction to the checkbox again...
Edit: Okay, now I'm sure the export fails, caused by the original base dds-image within the package. Maybe GIMP don't fix that error itself, whereas Phtopea is more tolerant. But I'm not able to say, what is going wrong. Maybe there is a version issue of dds format?
