I'm at a total loss on this issue, I can't find any help online or any sort of explanation, I'm hoping maybe someone has come across this problem or knows what I'm doing wrong.
I tried making a hair using the frakenmeshing method, and I cannot for the life of me get an imported texture to work. I exported the texture from S4S, made sure it was mapped properly using a s4 UV Map, made sure the UV Maps lined up and that I only had one, but the texture will not show up, whether properly or at all.
The only time I can see the right texture appear and move with my mapping, is when I enter Multitexture mode (bottom image), but it turns everything green so I can't see it properly. Once I turn it back to GLSL it reverts back to the top image. I can't find an answer to why this is happening or any possible solution (at least not for this version of Blender, 2.7. I tried downloading more recent versions but the model is devoid of texture altogether, skin and all, and S4S won't let me export anything because it needs 2.7 (do I have the wrong version of S4S?))
- This is the only piece with no texture whatsoever because I deleted it, I've fiddled with the other pieces to see if I could find an issue and none of them worked as well, but I loaded an old save to restore them, so by all accounts they remain untouched in the texture department.
- I unchecked the DiffuseMap after these were taken, it did not help
- I've tried re-uploading the texture a few times, and used many different pieces of meshes (first time, so it's very clumsy), so it's possible it's reading the wrong map? But I cannot find a way to permanently delete the excess maps. Again, for this version at least.
This is still my first time using Blender so please let me know any screenshots of other tabs/settings or information are needed.
I'd rather not start over completely on roughly 30+ hrs of work just because I'm a dumdum, so any and all help or advice anyone can give is appreciated more than I can express. If the chance of not being able to find a solution, I can withstand re-doing the one piece, BUT I need to know if that will pose any problems when I make color swatches or with it showing up in-game, since there's at least 3 different textures in the full piece.
Thank you in advance.
