Hi guys, I noticed that I have created an object but it requires me one of the kits because the base of the object was from the plant pack and I would like to make it compatible for the base game without having to recreate it from scratch .. do you know if there is a way to convert it just for a base game?

Hi. Making pack items base game compatible is a form of piracy with which we cannot help. If you are taking an existing pack item and modifying it with an intention of sharing with others, you should use the same package. For personal use you can do whatever you want.

Same question really, basically I’ve used the new greenhouse door as a base for my mesh, my new cc looks completely different but I needed to use that item as a base as I’m not super confident when it comes to glass doors, so you would be able to tell it’s from the greenhouse pack?

If the package includes all used textures and meshes instead of referencing them, it will require no greenhouse pack. However, the tuning the door is using may be specific to the pack, so you need to check if it is first.

So basically I've done 'create a 3d mesh' using the new greenhouse pack door, I've exported the mesh and edited it (it no longer looks exactly the same as the original) I've edited the texture and imported them both to the s4s file, but if anyone wants this door they'll need to have the greenhouse pack? How can I make it base game?

If you reimported all textures and meshes, it is already base game compatible ( at least this is how it works with cas items). This door does not look like it functions in any unusual way, so it most likely does not have any unique tuning. You can check if the item is bgc by disabling this pack and checking it in game

One of the Catalog files identifies which pack the base object comes from and the CC based on it will require the pack to function even if it behaves exactly the same way as a BG item. If you want your item to be BGC you will need to clone a BG item which you can then import your new mesh and textures into.
