Where do you put XML files in Sims 4? Where do they go? Do you even need to put them somewhere?
I'm only asking because I downloaded a Mod, and in one of the subfolders, there's an XML file (ie. Filename.xml) I have no idea what folder it goes into on Sims 4, and everywhere I searched on the web was of absolutely no help whatsoever. I'm new to this whole thing, so I don't know too much.

XML?
I can tell you with reasonable certainty that there are no XML files going into the sims 4 folder. Sims 4 only accepts in the mods folder: .package and .ts4script and in the tray folder: .blueprint, .bpi .hhi, and .householdbinary - the tray files are always generated by the game and people usually pull them via tray importer. Save files are .save
However, if you're creating some kind of CC, there might be a spot for xml in there. Not sure on that one.

XML files are normally embeded in the package itself like a tuning file f e.
dreamdancer82, I would just delete it and test the mod without it. It was probably added unintended.

It's the Royalty Mod from llazyneiph, and I just found the XML file in one of the folders, and I wasn't sure if I needed to copy it over into one of my Sims folders. This answers my question, thank you all very much.
BTW, S4Player, I LOVE your avatar! I'm a huge cat lover.
