I am not sure this is the right place to ask this question, but I couldn't find the answer when Googling, except for a post from 2017, so I don't know if the information is still accurate or not.
I see that Sims 4 Studio needs an update.
To update to the newest version, do I:
1) Uninstall Sims 4 Studio and then redownload,
or
2) Run the installer (which the 2017 post said should automatically uninstall the version I have, and then replace it with the new one) ?
Will running the installer completely remove the old version and replace it with the new one, or will there be issues?
When I tried to run it, the installer told me there was already something in the destination folder (the version of S4S that I currently have) and asked me if I want to install it there anyway, but I see no information as to whether it would actually remove the old version first or not.
If anyone could tell me how best to update S4S, since this is my first time having to update it, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
