Hello, complete beginner here! I have a name 'mod' and I think it needs updating but S4S does not seem to show the updated version of the tuning (nor sfx drops since the last patch)? This sort of thing didn't seem to require S4S updates before so I'm confused. I did re-download it today (wishes) just in case though.
Opening the xml with the xml extractor I can see that it has indeed changed with the patch (it has trendi usernames too now) but S4S shows the old version still. I need the tuning and sim data types and I don't know how to find the sim data let alone edit it without S4S. The other tools and tutorials I found seem to be very outdated as well...
I wouldn't say this is very urgent as I have found no issues in game yet but they may appear once the new pack comes out. Could it be something wrong on my end?
I apologize if this is not the appropriate place for this.

I managed to get the right simdata from the file cruiser but extracting the tuning was weird as it didn't seem to show the updated version, unless I'm looking at the wrong tuning? This is happening with more than one though... As for my 'mod', I hope it's going to be fine for now having used the xml from the xmlextractor to update it.

For some reason with this patch a lot of people's S4S caches didn't read the files properly. No idea why, but it was being mentioned on Discord a lot. The way to solve it is to refresh your S4S documents folder. To refresh: 1. Close S4S, navigate to its documents folder. 2. Rename the S4S folder. 3. Re-open S4S to generate a new one and re-log the new files, close S4S again when it is done. 4. Copy over important stuff if available, some of you won't have these based on what you do: Batch Fixes, Mods, Palettes, Settings, and possibly the Icons and AssetPaths files (these two seem to be generated from those icon, etc. cheats). 5. Delete the old folder when done copying. 6. Re-open S4S, extract your tuning again. All files should now be showing up.
