I have an issue where when I go to create a new mesh using the same base another creation that I have made that uses the same base will conflict with it. I am not sure how to make it their own separate objects. I am trying to make a door that uses the same base as another door I made and I can't seem to have both cc in my mods folder. If I take one out I can have one or the other. I am not sure how to fix this.

Hi. You must clone a package, not create a copy of it - put the door package in documents\sims 4 studio\mods, close s4s if opened, open again; - open the build catalogue, filter content by Custom, select the swatch you need, Next, name it something, and you have a new standalone package with unique identifiers

It seems a bit weird

I tried the steps about...the build catalog does not seem to have doors in it.

What I have done is to use "create a new mesh" then exported the door mesh. Replaced the geometry with mine, upload the LOD's yadda yadda. The door works. Next I wanted to make a different door with differing geometry but the same size so I used the same door selected when I went to "create a new mesh" then exported the mesh, edited it to my new mesh and the lod's and textures again, saved it as a nw mod with a new package and I see them both in my mods folder but then in Sims they do not both appear. I had the same issue with a shirt before.

This is done inside of the studio, you were just meant to put the original package inside s4s’s mods folder first, but all of that is irrelevant now because I misunderstood what you were trying to do.
So you are not using an existing cc package as a base for a new one, you are cloning the same maxis item with Create 3D mesh to create two standalone packages, yet they get the same identifiers and conflict in-game, correct? If yes, share the packages please

If yes, share the packages please I think it is because I was using "create a new mesh" instead of the Clone one. I tried remaking it using the clone method and had "renumbering" checked. I guess I had been using the wrong create option since it does not seem that it renumbers when using the "Ccreate 3d Mesh". I was looking around and found a topic that kind of made me realize the issue: sims4studio.com/thread/8967/make-items-separately-solved

Create 3d mesh does create a new package with new identifiers, so that is strange
