Hello I'm trying to make a part of object glow in the dark. I am using a custom package with 3 texture maps, 2 solid, 1 transparent but sadly no light data. I vertex painted the part I wanted for to glow but it did not work in game probably because there was no data for lighting. I was wondering if there was a way to make an object glow without using a mesh without light function as a base. I know about emission map in CAS but I cannot see an option as such for objects and I was wondering if there was a way to add a glow in some other way. I would appreciate any input, thank you very much in advance.

If you own Get To Work, try taking a look at the scientific looking shower. It has panels that light up and I think they may animate as well. I know that the effect is done with textures and shader settings and is not a VFX. What you may need to look for in the shader settings is something referred to as a LightMap, but that's only an educated guess on my part.
