I should first preface this with the fact that I am not a big-time modder or anything in any sense of the word - I try to learn to do what I want if I can't find it, as long as it seems like something I can reasonably do with what knowledge of coding/brute forcing/trial and error I DO actually have...
...But for some reason, CC eyes and teeth just absolutely refuse to work correctly for me.
At one point, I was able to successfully create a mod that enabled alien skintones and black eyes for human sims. Not sure what I did there to make it succeed, but I'm glad it did! I use it a lot. However, when I later tried to make red eyes similar to the green fish head from The Sims Online, for some reason... It just refused to actually show up in-game. I was able to brute force it to show up by simply just clinging it onto the previously mentioned mod (alien skin/eyes for humans) but that's not something that I would want to have to do every single time.
Now my biggest issue is that I can't under any circumstance get teeth to show up in-game. I'm trying to enable the werewolf teeth for humanoid sims (so that their non-transformed counterpart can use them, or even vampires since the quality of the werewolf teeth is admittedly better than the vampire teeth) but they don't even show up in the CAS catalogue in-game. I can't select them or anything.
I've tried "Create CAS Standalone", then going under "Categories", turning off Werewolf and turning on Human (and disabling for random), then saving and moving the new file to my mods folder, but on booting up the game... Nothing. It's not there. CC and script files are in fact on, because other CC (including CC teeth I've downloaded) are showing up and working fully correctly.
Frustrated, I went back to the drawing board for attempt 1.5 - opening the CC back up and then simply just saving it again. I've legitimately had this fix CC that wasn't working for me before, but it wasn't working this time. When told to be loaded by the game, it was outright missing from the CAS menu.
Then came Attempt 2: "Create 3D Mesh" option. Followed the exact same steps as Attempt 1, and like Attempt 1, was met with it just outright not working.
Attempt 3 was one I didn't expect to work and, well, my expectations were met: I tried the "Override" option, but this time kept Werewolf and Allow for Random ticked (so that werewolves wouldn't spawn in toothless), saved, and enabled... And nothing. Still not showing up ingame at all.
What am I doing wrong? How do I get these darn teeth to show up in game? I'm getting extremely frustrated by it.
EDIT for quick clarification: I tested with both completely human sims as well as werewolf sims in their human form with the same results either way.
