So I'm relatively new to making custom content I've only done it once before and last time it worked fine but this time it won't work. I've finished everything on my mesh the rigging, vertex painting, weight transfers, UV mapping, GEOMs all of that but it won't upload to S4S? I've used a nude mesh so I can upload my mesh as all one mesh without having to cut it and the GEOM is set as 0000 the same as the nude mesh. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong and would love some help with this I used Blender 2.79 to do the UV mapping then Blender 2.70 for rigging/vertex painting/weight transfers. See the cursor icon? It is disabled next to your pants. This is the reason it is not being imported Other issues: - see how the mesh is shaded like crumpled paper? In MD model in quads or retopologize the mesh; - the item is at "can crush the game" number of polygons. You must export the item as thin from MD. The side and inner geometry must be added only in places where they are visible; - transfer uvs and weights with Nearest face interpolated; - the pants reach the area of feet, so they should be affected by foot bones or they will clip into shoes.

thank you so much!! i'll try everything out and let you know if it works may i ask how do i make the bottom of the pants be affected by foot bones?

you can add them manually. In the future just choose an item that is of similar length as the reference - create new vertex groups with + buttons, double click on their names to rename them to b__L_Foot__ and b__R_Foot__; (here's where the + button is) - in Edit mode select the right side of the pants, switch to Weight paint, select b__R_Foot__, enable Face selection masking for painting, make sure Limit selection to visible is disabled; - select Weight gradient, click and drag until the paint reaches the ankle; - invert the selection, do the same on the other side with b__L_Foot__; - Normalize weights. You will most likely have to split the mesh into 4 meshgroups like maxis pants are split because those foot bones can act up on the highest graphics settings in-game

Hi! So i've done everything and everything seems to be working im just having some trouble with the weights? on the right thigh and thigh twist there's this purple bit that i can't get rid of and it's only on those 2? also when i'm using the rig tool those places don't move with the thigh

The left foot bone is affecting the right side. Select the whole right side, select the left foot bone, click on Remove
