Hi, I hope I'm in the right place. My knowledge is fairly limited with Blender, but I've been trying to convert a Sims 2 outfit to The Sims 4. I imported the mesh just fine, but the original Sims 2 mesh will not line up with The Sims 4 nude body mesh, or vice-versa. I've been following a tutorial by Joliebean but it's not working out for me, and I was wondering if anyone here had any solutions. I'd also want to separate the "feet" part from the mesh too (Sims 2 mesh has socks). I also had to join the top and bottom nude meshes to see the whole Sims 2 mesh at all, so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

Hi. You are meant to do it like this: - export the rigged model of ts2 garment; - get it in the scene with ts4 item; - take ts2 rig and align it with ts4 mesh. Apply, delete all weights.
If ts2 model is not rigged, the process can be switched (adjust ts4 mesh to ts2, then transfer all data, then put ts2 mesh in the correct pose), but I would not advice a beginner to do it, too many confusing steps.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I may have to learn more about this first, as your response went over my head! Thank you for taking the time to respond, though. I'll have to look more into it.
