This has been driving me crazy since last night. I've spent hours trying to resolve this issue and haven't found a fix. I'm trying to remove breasts that were built into a piece of CC. The item is an open-chest harness and I don't like the fact that I can't use it on my flat chested/male(feminine physique) sims. I've opened it in blender and removed the faces, but it simply shows up as an invisible chest (you can see inside of the sim's torso) when I import the modified item.
I'm new to the more advanced CC stuff so I'm stumped. No matter how much I research I haven't been able to find anything that's been helpful at all. At this point I just want to figure this out out of pure stubbornness.
Figured it out myself. If anyone else is having a similar problem, you have to delete all the vertices of the anatomy mesh for the CC (In my case, the breasts)
Next you open the Sim's default "nude top" mesh in blender and append the item over that mesh.

I've got a clothing tutorial in my signature on how to make clothing, and I wrote two others here and here. Both involve conversions but many of the methods are the same. Note that you should always take Mauvemorn's advice over mine. She's much, much better at all of this.

Thank you! I'll bookmark these to watch later. I admittedly went in blind since I already somewhat know blender, it was all of ts4 and s4s's specific needs that were throwing me off.
Defs gonna watch some more thorough tutorials now that I'm done hyper-focusing on that specific item. :3
