This fix didn't work for me, unfortunately.

Yes mauvemorn, I have s4s mesh tools installed properly and showing up, and I've restarted and made a new package in s4s, that's what you see in the screenshot there. When I click 'export mesh', I get the popup about blender 2.7

Hello! I got the same issue. Blender version: LTS 3.3.1 S4S version: 3.2.0.2 Star The path for blender is good, tried to copy it in my explorer and it launches Blender Sims add on activated, only the tool: Still, on a new project after rebooting everything, I got the 2.7 message: Not sure exactly where the problem is, but thanks in advance for the help!

ok, thanks! I will reinstall. Perhaps the error message could be more clear to specify that it's looking for 3.3.0 rather than pointing you to only 2.7, which makes it seem like an omission.

I’ll ask Andrew to make a more generic error message to prompt people to check what versions are supported

Oooh good catch, it's working now.
A bit more infos on the other issues I encountered while troubleshooting, if it can help anyone else:
-Be careful to add \blender.exe at the end of the path, copy and pasting the path is not enough -It is blender.exe, not blender_launcher.exe (if you right click on your shortcut to get the path, it will redirect you to the launcher, not the actual blender.exe) -You need to uninstall the 3.3.1 before installing the 3.3.0 but it wont delete your script folder
Thank you very much!

Lol, so true. Thank you for catching this. The beta versions of Studio have been updated to work with all Blender versions in the 3.3 series (including 3.3.1). As mauvemorn suggested, a better popup message appears if an incompatible version of Blender is installed. This message links to a post listing all versions of Blender that Studio can work with. If anyone experiences any more difficulty please report it here.

I also did restart S4S after the redirect change just to make sure too and it still comes out with saying I need blender 2.70. Now, that version is too outdated for my computer. I have also put S4S and Blender on my secondary (S) drive and am still having this issue.

This error message was changed to a different one, so if you’re still getting it, you’re probably using an old version. Make sure you are downloading Star or Aurora from here, not the community tested version sims4studio.com/board/6/download-sims-studio-open-versionif this won’t help, share your s4s settings please

Im having trouble getting the Sims 4 Studio add on to work in Blender 3.3.0 it gives me an error once I try to click enable There are two addons, only Import-Export: sims 4 studio mesh tools needs to be enabled, the library must be disabled. You do not need to enable anything yourself. - make sure you are using the latest version of s4s star/aurora; - make sure to change blender path to blender.exe in the installation folder of blender 3.3; - do not open blend files created in other versions in blender 3.3, they will not import. Clone something, export the blend, delete original meshgroups, append yours, check cut numbers, save, import in s4s.
