Hi! I wanted to learn retopology and found this tutorial, which is exactly what I needed. At the end of the tutorial it says that I need to join unwelded parts of the clothes together and I don't understand how to do it. A "merge" option doesn't seem to work, as well as "bridge edge loops". Or I just don't understand how to use these blender things properly. Any advises will be appreciated, thank you so much. (I also need to add that I'm not gonna finish this project, I made it just for the tutorial) blend file

Hi. The front pattern has more vertices along the border than the sleeve, which is bad. You can join them this way but there will be pinching in this area sims4studio.com/post/181997/threadIf you have Marvelous designer 11+, you should just retopologize the mesh there, it will be much easier and faster

I just tried this method and I have a question. For some reason, patch topology tool doesn't allow me to complete retopology. Should I complete it manually or there is another option?

You need to finish retopologizing the whole pattern and only then complete the retopology

You need to finish retopologizing the whole pattern and only then complete the retopology I tried it but for some reason the topology along the parts that contains curvature didnt appear :(

try reducing the number of vertices along those curved edges, their number should match.
If this won’t help, rewatch the video from 1:25 until the new wireframe appears to see if you are missing anything.
Also, for the future, split the front and the back patterns into two patterns (front_right and front_left, back_right and back_left, like in the video) and enable link editing, it is much easier to edit and retopologize them this way.
