Hmmm, I suggest deleting the whole closed part Select the bottom verticles in blender as you did in the pictures. then press E to extrude it , then press S to scale it down to the middle , about halfway orso. Then press F to make a new face to close the hole (because you didn't scale completely to the middle, you need to fill the rest up with a new face ). Unwrap it the way you like it, I mostly to the smart UV view to get a round circle :D. Sometimes it can be a bit tricky if your skirt/dress isn't round or a natural shape. if closing does not look pretty, you can leave it open. Just make sure the legs are seen properly when the sim is sitting 😅

If you notice, a lot of EA meshes have the bottom closed like this: I wrote a whole long-arsed tutorial that you can find here. Steps 75 to 77 go over what I did to close the hole. This was based on Mauvemorn's advice so I take no credit for this method. It worked well for the project.
