Hi. The beta version works on windows 10, you may have originally downloaded the version meant for Mac. You downloaded a community tested version that hundreds of thousands of people had no problems using. If the problem was in how s4s is programmed, it would have happened to everybody, including the developers. If s4s freezes when you open your Mods folder, it can be a matter of how big it is. Create a subfolder in Mods and move most of the content there until only about 1 GB remains. Try again. If you are encountering this problem in other situations, it can be a matter of what s4s is doing and how your system reacts to it. There is nothing s4s developers can do about how your system perceives s4s’s actions but you can. Try the following, if the first solution will not help, try the second one and so on: 1). Add it to exceptions in your antivirus, including Microsoft defender; 2). If you have the d drive, install s4s there instead of the c drive; 3). If you don’t have the d drive, allow s4s to do everything as explained in both replies answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-grant-a-specific-application-permanent/7e80d9ca-6e3b-4d5c-bb52-ac9adcd4e5ec
