Was trying to follow a tutorial and saw this guy select "hand/arm" in 1 click (See attached image). Was wondering how I do that instead of having to manually select each face/vertices because it takes SO LONG to manually select each one. (More than likely because this is my first time using Blender). Would love any tips that would help remove the body parts from the clothing, so I could continue to learn how to forward my progress in learning Blender with Clothing and Modeling. (This is not a shirt I designed just fyi, It's just for learning and figuring out the model concept and design!) i.imgur.com/2rASZmn.jpegAlso in this second image. i.imgur.com/217KvEA.pngWill the shoulder area be an issue because the model is attached to the shirt?

Hi. Two fast ways: 1). in 3d view select a face on the arm, press Ctrl L, Face - Delete; 2). Alternatively, in Uv editor enable Sync, holding Ctrl, click and drag to select a uv islands of arms. This way select all uvs of the body. In 3d view delete them. You should watch a beginner oriented mesh editing tutorial for ts4, it should contain all the basics like this

Yeah I just watched a couple so far, but watching video 2 from a different person now. Unfortunately that command you gave me worked... but not for this outfit XD So I'll have to try another one. Thank you by the way, that was exactly what I was looking for. I've learned some of the basics, like how X opens a menu, and the various perspectives and such, still a long way to go, only been at this for less than 24 hours. xD i.imgur.com/HLDOX1W.pngIt selects the full outfit with that shirt because of where the faces of the skin/body are attached to the shirt around the collar Another Example

In this case there is no gap between the nude and the clothed parts of the torso, so this won’t work. - select the whole mesh, Mesh - Faces -Tris to quads; - take the knife tool ( press K ) and cut the mesh along the collar; - when you will finish doing it, the created edges will be selected. Mesh - Edges - Edge split; - select a face on the nude part, Ctrl L, delete.
