Hi. It does not morph, either the uv_1 is wrong or the vertex paint - clone a maxis dress of similar length, export the blend, append it in the scene with your dress, rename to Reference; - you should not overwrite the data of the maxis body, so before re-transferring aforementioned things, separate the dress from the body. In uv editor enable sync, select all uvs of the dress, in 3d view press P, choose Selection to separate the dress; - select your dress, create a uv_1 if there is none, add Data transfer, choose the appended dress as Source object, set the rest like in the pic, apply; - repeat the same process but with vertex paint; - delete the reference, join the body with the dress

Thanks for your answer, that's what I do but maybe I'm wrong about something, I'll try again

Something was wrong with the Vertex paint and the weight paint, always the green and blue color of VP and WT respectively, they only covered the garment but today they covered almost the entire body and the garment fit other body sizes. I will do more tests but in this quick try it is working
Thank you! ♥

Sorry for the wait, did not have the access to pc. Enable sharing on your files please, we cannot download them The vertex paint is meant to be green, it's the hex code that matters. The weight paint will be blue where the bone does not affect the body, so there is nothing wrong about it.

The whole mesh is vertex painted with wrong colors. Beside the skirt, all of it should be painted with 00ff00 specifically. The skirt should have 3fff00, the transition between them should be smoothed.
Other issues: -The dress is very high poly, 4 times higher than maxis most complex meshes. -Model in quads in MD. -Utilize available uv space more efficiently. Bigger uvs = better texture quality. -Do not scale uvs individually, it will result in difference in texture quality or pattern size. -Try to avoid big uv island like the skirt's one, instead split them in multiple ones,it will be easier to fit them into the available uv space
