How to add custom animation to preexisting interaction

Hi! Im new to modding, and still learning the ropes. I finished a custom animation, and i coded a working custom interaction.

now, I hope to somehow add said animation to the code i made for the interaction. how would i go about doing that?

**EDIT** i figured it out! it took a LOT of digging, but i found this amazing tutorial!! 

It helped me understand modding itself much better as well!
