Hello! I've been trying to fix a visible seam on a child top, but nothing has worked. Finally I decided to test if maybe the issue wasn't with my mesh, but something that would happen anyways, so I just cloned a simple child t-shirt, exported the mesh, imported the same mesh without making any changes, and then tested. The seam appears on this item as well, even though it's the exact same Maxis mesh, just exported and imported. Is there a way to avoid this?

Hi. - in uv editor enable sync; - select a few faces on each uv island of the body, Select - Linked to select all of them; - Tools - Remove doubles, set Merge distance to 0,0001.

Thank you<3 I did try this a couple of times and it didn't work. I tried again now just to make triple sure. Results vary from making it slightly worse, to removing only the vertical seam on the back of the neck.

Are you doing this on the example in the picture or a different file? If the different one, did you transfer weights or modify the normal map there? Whichever the case, please share the blend and the package after you’ve done what is mentioned above

Whichever the case, please share the blend and the package after you’ve done what is mentioned above Right now I'm trying to figure out why it happens just from exporting and importing, so I'm testing on an unedited Maxis top (the example in the picture). No weights or anything edited. This is step-by-step of what I did to test: 1. From main menu, CAS, "Create CAS Standalone" 2. I clone cuTop_ShirtTee_grayCat 3. Under Meshes and LOD 0 I click "Export Mesh" 4. I then click "Import Mesh" and import the same back in, without opening it or doing anything else 5. Save and test Then the seam is there like in the picture. If I clone the t-shirt and don't export or import anything, the seams are not there. If I remove doubles, the seams are there, but slightly different. In the different one (the sweater I'm actually making), the issue is identical. I finished the whole mesh before adding the neck and hands from the child top (the one that's a child of the rig), so I didn't touch any weights or UVs after merging. I tried also to remove doubles on this file with the same result. Thank you for the help<3 Package file (removed doubles) Untouched Blender file Removed doubles Blender file

hmmmmmmmmmm, i think this is some type of a bug. There is nothing wrong with the mesh and i can recreate this problem. I'll notify the developers, maybe they will be able to find something For now, you could try using a different program
