Hello, I was following this post that talks about how to make cut numbers, I was following it as carefully as possible and I tried it about 7 times and always gives me the same problem, I think the tutorial is pretty good but as I am not so expert maybe I'm missing something, it should be noted that my native language is not English and sometimes I do not usually understand even though I use the translator, but anyway, the error that usually happens to me is this one here: imageI am sorry for not giving much detail but it is the first time I see this cut number issue and I do not know much about it. image 1 image2 image3 image3as you can see in these screenshots each one has the number that the reference had, once I put it I deleted the mesh of EA (the reference) and left mine, even so you can't see anything in the s4s only the final part, you can only see the mesh that has as cut number 0000, I repeat, I'm new in the cut number topic :( help as I saw in the tutorial, at the end there is a troubleshooting, but I think that none of these is what happens to me.

Hi. Did you clone similar pants to start the package? Before saving the blend, did you unhide all parts of the pants? If yes, share the package and blend file please

Hi. Did you clone similar pants to start the package? Before saving the blend, did you unhide all parts of the pants? If yes, share the package and blend file please that's the thing, I don't know with ''cloning'' I'm not very clear on the concept, so I'll share with you the .blend of how I understood things to be done. blendI'm sorry if I can't answer your questions well, it's just that some things about this subject are not clear to me.

When in s4s main menu you choose Create CAS stansalone or Create 3d mesh and click on CAS, then choose something, click Next and save, this is the process of cloning something ( creating a standalone duplicate of an existing item) So you need to clone similar pants to start a package and to transfer all data from. The reference you used was shorter, so th bottom of your pants may clip into shoes. It is best to re-do data weight and uv_1 transfer - open your blend. If you were to zoom out and select top.001, you'd see that this meshgroup that is meant for calves contains a bit of the belt. Switch to edit mode, select that belt area, Delete - Faces; - join all parts of your pants into one with Ctrl J, rename to Pants, in edit mode select everything with A, Select - Select boundary loops, Mesh - Mark Sharp ( so that you remember where they were); - select everything again and remove doubles; - save the blend and close it; - in s4s main menu click on CAS, then paste ymBottom_PantsLoosePajamas in the search bar, choose any swatch, Next, name it something, export the blend, open it, join all meshgroups into one, rename to reference; - File - Append - your initial blend - Object - Pants; - transfer weights from the reference exactly as shown below - transfer uv_1 from the reference; - split the mesh into meshgroups ( you can just select a few faces, then Ctrl L and choose Sharp), assign cuts; - delete bone_bone_shape, rig.001, reference, save, import in the package you started from ymBottom_PantsLoosePajamas - import the blend

omg thank you so much you really helped me a lot and made me realize that in fact I was doing something wrong, I was using the EA mesh naked and then the EA pants fot the cuts and at the end my mesh (well a mess), so I guess that must be the problem. so much patience and so kind, thank you very much you are the best!!!

Hi mauvemorn Do you think you could tell me what I'm doing wrong with my blend file and cut numbers? Hi, yes. Could you please make a new thread, explain what type of problem you’re having and share the package and blend files
