How to fix roofs being too white/bright in day mode

Hi all

I found this very old thread to adjust the specular settings in roofs so that they aren't so bright in game, however after changing all my roof packages it doesn't seem to work and many roofs turn white when in day mode. Is there an updated fix or any suggestions to fix the roofs so that they do not appear so unrealistic in game?
