Hi. 1). first, you need to add the other side differently, otherwise it will clip into the front: - in edit mode select all hair with A, then Remove doubles; - just in case, Mesh - Normals - Recalculate outside; - switch to Object mode, add Solidify modifier, change Thickness to 0.0002, disable Fill rim, apply; 2). You also need to edit the uvs so that they do not get outside of the uv space, there must be at least a few pixels between them and the borders
