I have never had any conversion beat me before except this one I converted the City Living Jumpsuit to Child but the left Foot is giving me what seems like a serious weight problem, I had those issues before but a simple weight transfer has solved it, but not this one, I have tried weight transfer on many similar CAS Items, now viewing it in blender weights it's appear mirror-correct as the working right foot should look, it's the b_L_Calf_ and b_L_Foot_ I transfer from, but it persists to give me the same problem. Grab the verts around that ankle and removed them from every group. Then reassigned them to the groups they were originally supposed to be assigned to. Sometimes blender will attach some verts to unexpected groups or even miss some completely during transfer. It's a pretty common problem with weights transfer, but not everybody sees it right away.

Hello! I can't access the file, but from what I see you probably should delete both feet weights at all and use Normalize All option in weights menu

Neither of those two suggestions worked. :-[
As for rosebud1773 I selected all vertices on left foot, unassigned the only two groups they were assigned to which was only b_L_Calf_ and b_L_Foot, then Re-Assigned those Two groups back, then had to re-transfer the weights again, it's now exactly weight painted as the working right foot, yet same old result.
Also tried dissia's suggestion, cleaned up both feet's weight, Normalized All, then re-transfered the weights back again, again same result... awful left foot..

No no, do not transfer weights again cause what you delete you transfer again so it's like you did nothing. You need to get rid of foot weights on cut affected by them to avoid problem you have

Yeah... don't retransfer the weights after removing that section from all groups. You're going to manually reassign those verts to the groups they're supposed to be in. It's a bit more work, but well worth it.

Thanks anyway I ignored my transferring weights back again then something changed finally - ibb.co/yY05sQs - Now if I retransfer weights I'll lose this fix --- so i guessing I just Paint on the Weights myself ? or use decimal values, ok I think i got it.. !

Hi. Your pants go below ankles, thus should be affected by foot bones and the reference you used was. No bottom made of one meshgroup is, to my knowledge, so when you start a package from something like this and import your blend there, the foot bones act up. As you see, the distortion happens exactly where the mesh is affected by them. Do not re-transfer or re-assign weight, just delete foot bones and normalize weights like this Then you need to re-import the mesh and check the item in CAS. Put some shoes on a sim and play different walking animations. If the shoes clip into pants, you will have to make the pants the way maxis ones are made (clone pants of the same lengths, retransfer weights from them, then split your pants in the same number of meshgroups the same way).

I've taken a look at your package file and the blend file that it exports. After several hours of trying to sort it out, I resorted to creating an entirely new package file. Altering your mesh by only adding one extra mesh part to fit the number of parts in the new file, I imported it and took a look in-game. It works perfectly in the new package file. Your current package is corrupted and reading as a script mod. This is the new package file I ended up creating from yours. www.simfileshare.net/download/3662393/

Thank-you everyone and especially to Rosebud1773 who kindly took the time to re-export it correctly to 4 parts than my 3 parts as I did not have a Ankle group. only Base, Knee and Calf. Actually I did actually "fix" mine by cleaning up weights again on both feet and what mauvemorn said about the foot/ankle problem, then I just got an idea of just transfering weights again but this time just omitting b_l_Foot transfer and then thee left foot was fine, but then I saw another reply and found rosebud1773's package so much better I had to just delete mine, and just kept rosebud1773's version, and it inspired me to take to improve it even further, I fixed-up the inappropriate looking VNeck at the chest, then I also had to edit the Shadow, Specular and Normal Map also (not great with those because I only know how to edit those in a paint program). Then I notice a few gaps (holes) in my conversion so in blender I closed them up, referenced the original to correct the Style tags and Categories, and then the Region Map to make sure all boots and shoes appear the go under the pants and not over, one thing I omitted from the original was it also states NecklaceShadow with a value of 400 ( I unsure what thats trying to say), but I tested the item thoroughly with all boot types and accessories, necklaces and saw no need for it. Anyway, my best conversion to date and very happy and thankful to all, where I also benefitted of learning a lot more in blender. I'm so glad I could help and inspire you. Blender can be a bear to learn, especially if you're new to the whole 3D modeling process. YouTube is a great resource for blender tutorials, everything from basic tools to advanced modeling and animation. There's a group of us who run a Custom Content Help Desk on Discord. I'm one of the blender specialists there. We're not as active as we once were, but if a question pops up, someone will always answer. (I've been meaning to convert that outfit for a while now. I like what you did with the neckline and so I grabbed your updated version. I'm your first like on it. )

I should start sharing them around, but i not consider them good quality enough, those are only a fraction what i've done so far, I also have many unfinished blender projects on my HD, it is time-comsuming but well worth it in the end. You can see I really screwed up on the Seasons dress on the chest area a bit, but not everything is not as perfect as it make seem on my screenie, some may have gaps but now I got the knowledge to go back to them from time-to-time and improve them further. atm i am having problems converting the ymTop_Pajamas to toddler but I got the bottoms done! But yeah more conversions the better, I should speak to you and others then on Discord.. Just a few.. ibb.co/Fzd6RyJ

You're not giving yourself enough credit. These conversions look really good. As in, I'd put them in my game kind of good. You should share them somewhere. Let others test them and if we find something wrong, we can let you know. You learn more with feedback, constructive critique and instruction than by trying to figure it all out on your own.
