hey all, haven't made cc in a LOOONG time, wanted to get back into it and finally ventured into hairs again. i've converted a mesh and i've got most things working aside from the texture. i tried updating uv_1 and uv_0 multiple times following a couple tutorials but i'm pretty much stumped now. below is my problem as well as my .blend .package, and texture files. (ignore the fact that i haven't done the colors or hat chops yet plz lol im trying to figure this out before going any further!) thanks for any help!!!!!!!

Hi, i think that is not a texture problem. That is the bang area of the old hair mesh still showing, I think it's related to the cut number. If you export the mesh from your package, it still export as the old hair mesh.
Edit: The normal hair should have cut number 0002, you could take the complete hair mesh, change the cut number to 0002, delete the other hair mesh, duplicate the cut 0002 hair mesh 2 times and change the cut number to corresponding hat chop.
