Looks like I'm going to need help after all. Been trying for hours to figure this out. I have an old hair made by Anto. It's this one. When I open the package all of the textures are there but there is no meshes tab. The meshes are in the warehouse but there's no meshes tab in the studio section. I tried using package.export and the meshes exported as .geometry files. I don't know what to do with those. I also tried studio.exportall but only the textures were exported. Not the meshes. Then I cloned the Anto hair and was able to export the meshes as blend files. So, that problem is solved. The issue I have now is that there are 101 texture files and I really don't want to have to import them one by one. Using studio.importall didn't seem to work. Is there a way to clone a new hair, import the meshes (I can do this manually. It's not a big task), then quickly import the textures?

Hi. This package is intentionally “corrupted”, so that people would not steal the meshes. I don’t know how they do it or how to get them out, other than rip from the game with ninja ripper or sim ripper. You can try putting it into \documents\sims 4 studio\mods and try cloning it, but it will probably not work

I looked at several of Anto's hair and yeah, they are all deliberately corrupted. Dang, Anto! Why??? All I want to do is look at the swatches on the hair--which I can't do as the sim is bald when I check it via the "my CC' function--and delete the ones I don't want. Good grief!
The hair does work in the game, at least.
I cloned Anto's original package file and was able to export the blend files that way, and I was able to extract all of the textures using studio.exportall. My hope was that I could clone an EA hair, import the meshes manually, then import the textures via some function such as studio.importall or package.import. Neither function works for me, however. I was hoping you had some advice for me as I've never used Studio's cheat code functions.

Anto’s hair is alpha, so it probably has more meshgroups than the maxis ones. But if it is not: - open the package with the custom hair, press Ctrl Shift C, paste studio.exportall . S4S will create a folder with the same name and export all thumbnails, textures in png and all blend files; - Tools - Color palette, choose Import palette; - create a new package, overwrite the first one (they must have the same names); - Open Color palette again, Apply color palette to package. Open the console again, enter studio.importall.

But, I was able to clone the original package and the meshes tab showed up in the cloned package. Which, meant, of course, that I could export the blends manually. So, I exported the blends, then did everything else you said and imported the blends back in and it's all good. Thank you!!
