Hello all!
I'm hoping somebody can help me with this issue. I'm trying to make a sports medal, and I cloned the dogtag style base game male necklace. I made my mesh, UV-mapped it successfully, and it looks nice in Blender and S4S (or as nice as it can look with my "test" texture). The problem is, when I get it in game, the ribbon part of the medal looks fine, but the medallion part is disconnected or floating away from it. The medallion either seems to be connected to my sim's belly or to his head, because it appears to move more when he turns his head in CAS, and when I tried to test it with different body types, there was a spike or vertex sort of connecting it?
I know I don't need Blender 2.70 to transfer weights; however, that is in fact the version I'm using (I also have 3.3.9 - should I be using that instead?) and I've read all the tutorials I can find on here. I've tried to transfer weights from the dogtag necklace to my medal multiple times, but it continues to have the same issue with the medallion floating away from the ribbon and looking like it's connected weirdly to my sim. I'm sure there's something I'm overlooking, but I cannot figure out what it is.
I'm putting links to my blend and package below, so hopefully someone can sort me out. Any help would be greatly appreciated! *begs*
This is what it looks like:
(I'm sorry... for some reason it won't let me insert images!)
And here are my files:
file.io/y9gpd8BfgsoS - this is the one where I tried to transfer the weights (the most recent one!)
file.io/6CGblVyWa2yD - and this is my package file
A thousand thanks to anyone who can assist me with this!
