apparently if you have a Sim with the ‘Good’ trait witness enough horrible things (in my Sim’s specific situation it was a spouse repeatedly cheating in front of them because I am a monster) they have a heart attack and straight up die. My Sim died in the nursery in front of his baby’s crib. Bru. Tal.
the reaper comes to collect my Sim’s soul (oof) but his teenage son pleads for his myocardial infractioned soul and… he is saved.

spoiler alert; I did try everything again a second time to see what would happen and it turns out that you cannot plead for someone’s soul twice. or something like that. so Arthur Dayne was saved from Death once, but he is now, unfortunately, very dead.
