Very new here, been enjoying myself making recolors and the odd mesh but otherwise still pretty clueless . Lately all of a sudden I've been getting the same huge error message specifically when trying to import and export CAS meshes (i can't really copy paste it 'cos it's so long) Most often it'll just be stuck on a loading screen for about an hour before I finally just give up and close it. I've noticed a lot of people on here having a similar issue and it being chalked up to antivirus settings, path settings, windows settings, issues with task manager...I must have uninstalled and reinstalled both Blender and S4S over a dozen times now to no avail. I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong but I have noticed that Build/Buy objects work perfectly fine so is there any known issues that can affect just CAS and nothing else?
Thank you and sorry for parroting the same issue as many others but none of the known fixes are helping me. - Lucy

Hi, I did consider that angle too but to no avail. Basically all CAS meshes are unable to import or export.

Share your s4s settings, tell us what version of s4s you have and where s4s is installed on your computer

I have the most recent version of S4S, it's installed in Program Files x86. I still need to figure out how to share images here but I've compared path settings with what it should be and everything's where it's supposed to be.

Do the following: - click on cas, choose the first item in the list, Next, name it something; - export the blend, then import it back right away. If you'll get an error, copy paste it; - if nothing happens, share the blend file that you cannot import

I can't export or import anything, I receive the error message that I linked. This isn't referring to a specific blend because I get the same error with every item.

Ah, sorry, didnt see the error. Currently s4s does not fully support Blender 3.3, something broke. Get 4.1, change the path in s4s setting to it, export any blend, open in 4.1 to see if theres s4studio cas tools. If there is, open your blend in 4.1, save it, import back

Okay thanks, S4S didn't recognize 4.1 when I originally tried it, how do I adjust the settings so that it does?

Just redownloaded 4.1 and it says 'this version of Blender is not compatible with this version of Sims 4 Studio' Does that mean I don't have the latest version of S4S?

You have the latest version of s4s and it supports 4.1, im using it Try deleting sims 4 studio folder from Documents and restarting s4s, then change the path again. Make sure it leads to blender.exe file in the installation folder of Blender 4.1
