Placing urn/grave into inventory when off lot.

Will I be able to place a sim's grave into my sim's inventory if the grave is not on my sim's home lot? For my current legacy save, I have a graveyard in my household lot of past legacy sims. I have plans for my household to vacation in Sulani and for story purposes, I want my elderly sim to drown in the ocean while on vacation. If that happens, will I be able to place that sim's grave into my sim's inventory so that I can take it back to the home lot? I've had playthroughs where "place in inventory" is not an option so I just wanted to make sure.
