Hi. - clone a hat, export the blend, open; - in 3d view select the hat, hide it with the eye icon; - click on Filter and enable cursor; - expand the rig, make ears visible and selectable; - select them, Object - Duplicate objects, in 3d view press Esc to confirm; - select ears.001, Object - Parent - Clear and keep transforms; - hide the original ears; - with ears.001 selected, switch to Edit mode ( TAB ); _ select everything with A, Mesh - Merge - By distance; - enable X-ray, select vertices, move them with G; - click on the hidden meshgroup of the hat, check what cut number it has, then delete this meshgroup in the outliner; - give ears.001 the same cut, save, import back
