I used these bangs from a snowy escape hair and merged them on this bob hairstyle. But they were too wide so I had to chop of the sides a bit. But now I have no edge. How can I add that? blend

Hi. This hole will be closed by the rest of the bob, so you dont need to do this

mauvemorn its not closed off though. I shows up in blender and in game as a gap. And if I move the hair to be closer to the scalp than it overlaps weirdly and the textures cross each other blend

with proportional editing enabled, move this area of bangs so that it sinks into the rest of the hair. Otherwise youll have to create, unwrap and straighten new geometry Also, as always, the first thing you do is remove doubles. Right now you have overlapping geometry because this way not done before removing unwanted part of the mesh. Remove doubles on the bangs first, then Mesh - Normals - Recalculate outside

This is the remnant of the rest of the hair i moved away to show you that they are there and overlap with the bangs. This is what you need to remove and why normals will be flipped

mauvemorn ok well i moved the edges of the hair down into the other hair with proportional editing but now it intersects. I removed doubles and recalculated outside after I moved the edges but it looks like this.

Work in Solid shading mode and move the selection carefully, with smaller radius, you can see that they intersect better this way Once done, you can select these edges, Mark them as sharp, disable proportional editing, press E, then S to extrude and close small gaps. Then split sharp edges
