Hi, I wonder if anyone can give me an answer to my question. I merged a good amount of my cc files together and then I saw that S4S Joy had the bathing fix cheat for clothing. Does the cheat still work on my merged clothing cc?

nikiisims, did all the swatches show up when you put all the original .packages in your mods folder? I'm sort of unclear about what it is you're doing...changing the prototypeID is not the same as merging .packages. Changing that ID will make the items all show up on the same catalog thumbnail and has nothing to do with merging entire .packages.
ziriafen, the cheat should still work even if you have merged your content.

I wasn't sure what was causing the problem so I mentioned both. I placed the unmerged packages in my Mods folder, and only one of them showed up.

This is telling you that the game regards them as identical and will only show one at a time. The reason this is happening is you probably made a package then duplicated it to make your other colors. In order for you to fix this you will need to make new clones of the additional swatches. See THIS tutorial. Good luck  |

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Studio isn't able to work with roofs yet..
Otherwise I don'know..

So if I merge 3 poses together they will all go in game and work normally? How will that effect the new pose player that was created? Will it still work the same?

Hi sweetsorrowsims, as long as the poses are overriding different EA clips you should be fine merging them and the pose player will work with them the same way it would had they not been merged. One thing to keep in mind if you're sharing them is that someone may have a favorite pose overriding the .clip you're overriding with one of your poses. If you have merged all of yours into a single .package this will make that person unable to use the other two poses you made and still use their favorite pose at the same time.

Is there a limit to how many files can be merged into one? I remember with TS3 it was suggested not to go over 1GB or something like that. Any limitations with this? I have a TON of files already and want to cut down as effectively as possible.

Hi bluehopper, welcome to Studio forums. So far we have had reports of people merging up to 500 MB into a single .package that worked successfully in the game. I do not know if anyone has tried to merge more than that and had the resulting .package not work. If you push the envelope your findings would be helpful to know. If you experiment with it make sure to back up your files first so that if you get an unwanted outcome you still have your custom content safe to put into a smaller sized merged.package.  |

Is there a way to unmerge? Like, I have a merged package file and I want to delete some stuff from it or take one out. Is that possible?
