I found this adorable kitchen set with custom open counters, but have found that it causes a bug that prevents my Sims from completing their cooking.
I found some help threads which addressed the problem, but none of the solutions fixed it.
The things I already tried: -Removed everything from the counter and everything from the walls around it to rule out routing problems -Cleared local thumb cache -Repaired the game -Removed all cc -Removed mods, tray, saves, etc folders and regenerated a new game -Used 50/50 method to determine that the only thing causing the problem was the counter (which prevents Sims from finishing cooking even when other counters are used on the lot)
Does anyone have any additional ideas? I wouldn't even know what to do to fix a bugged object itself.

If they are older CC counters you may need to run the S4S batch fix to fix objects for Cats & Dogs Patch.

There was a bug a long time ago too that happened with normal game counters where you had to delete them and place them again too.

I too am having this issue with any CC counters. If I place an EA counter then everything is good, if I place a CC counter and try to cook, it says I have no counter space to cook on. I have ran all the batches, came here hoping maybe there was a new one. I hate most of the EA counters so im dying here without any CC ones. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have multiple sets of CC counters and they are all causing this issue. When I click on the fridge and choose cook, the only option I have is garden salad. Sometimes it says there is no counter space other times it says nothing. I have tried different fridges and different stoves too.
Edit. So, I went through, took all my cc out of the sub folders and did ALL the batch fixes and after that the counters worked. Yay....I played for a little over an hour then, out of nowhere, she couldn't cook anything again. Not only that, but she had no choice to make the Grand Meal for Christmas (or whatever they call it) I did nothing different, just normal play. Hadn't gone into build mode or even CAS. Strangely enough, she was in a playful mood and I did have the option to make the silly pancakes. Im out now doing another repair to see if that will make some sort of difference.
