I have managed to make plain walls cloned from EA's walls, but when I try to recolor any walls with trim or molding, all I end up doing is recoloring over everything, with no trim visible. When I look at the tutorial, it shows a wall with the base color being changed, with no change to the trim/molding, but when I do it, it recolors everything. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Is there anyone that can help me with what to do? Thanks so much

rmp I think the best way to deal with this is using the rectangular marquee tool (Selection tool) to make a selection of the part you want to change. Then delete this part and make a new layer UNDERNEATH the trim. Then do everything you would do with a normal wall recolor. You can use Orangemittens written tutorial, which you can find right here: Written TutorialOr my video tutorial which you can find right here: Video Tutorial
