I wanted to ask for advice if there any way to preview how new accessory will work with specific pose? I created wedding bouquet and it's asymmetrical shape so in order to make it work with certain wedding poses it has to positioned in certain way. I wanted to know if it's possible to attach this object to the bone and use with exported from another package pose and see how it works right in Blender and adjust the position accordingly in that scene?

It is possible to attach an object to a specific bone in Blender via parenting or constraining. You can read the explanation and the link to the Blender tutorial/help on it here. However, for this to work you would have to know how sims hold objects. After all, you want it to work with the ingame animation of having something picked up, right? Maybe you can find that out by looking at some EA animations that have sims pick stuff up (like drinking coffee), to see if you can replicate the position of the cup with the position of the bones. Alternatively I guess you could just use your own CAS accessory that you assign its own position corresponding to the position your gave it in Blender.

phyre I saw that link but in this case it's like reading rocket science book, I didn't understand a word. And doesn't explain at all how to check this attached object in pre-made pose. I hoped there is somewhere easier explanation like in tutorials for sims 4. I understand the basics that I need to watch how game animation works but even after this I am just guessing when rotating the object. I thought that there is a way to check how it works with custom pose but I don't understand how to do this.

I am sorry I can not be of further help to you. I do not create poses myself so I can not provide you any information on the specific actions required for a Sims 4 pose, beyond the more general Blender information. Hopefully someone else can help you! Maybe inabadromance can offer some insight? I know she is really good with poses.

phyre thank you for trying anyway . I am not native speaker so that slows down the process of understanding sometimes. I don't have any problems with understanding written or video tutorials about modificators etc. but when it comes to working with rigged objects I get lost.

hi! Since you want the bouquet to work on other poses, then i would start with those. -Look for pose made by someone else. export it. open it in blender. -Append your accessory. -mentally choose the bone you want to use. I'd suggest using a finger bone instead of the hand. Select the rig in Pose Mode. change to rest position. -right click the bone you want to apply the acc. -change to obj mode. right click your mesh and position it where it should be, on the hand. -hold shift while your mesh is selected and right click on the rig. Both your mesh, and the bone you selected before are going to me highlighted. -Press ctrl+p and select "bone". -Right click the rig so that it's the only thing highlighted. -Restore the pose by selecting pose position. -Now the item is connected. accommodate the mes if needed. -when finished, apply rest position again. right click your mesh and press alt+p. select clear parent and keep transformation. This is only for pose making and accomodate the acc. You'll need to export a BG acc to append your (already in place) mesh, map in place, assign bone (same choosen here), change cuts. More in depth here. For hand acc there's no need for uv_1 or vertex paint.

inabadromance thank you for explanation. Will do all these steps in the morning. My bouquet is already made, uv-mapped, tied to the bone, textured, positioned (after many tries in the game), checked in the game with 30 different poses. But didn't sit perfectly in specific wedding poses. So before creating this thread I read suggested above wiki blender post a few times.
