Hello! could someone help me? I was looking a tutorial on how to make new meshes and i'm stuck in the prat where the body meshes is joined with the new mesh, when i go take a look at the body uv (after joining), instead of seeing the arms and stuff mapping (aka what it used to be before joining) i see it has turned into a small point in the mapping. Could anyone help me?

hi! Is your mesh and edit or a new mesh from scratch? Joining the mesh with the body should be the last step. You have to create the uv map for your mesh, the uv_1, weight transfer and vertex paint. After doing all that, both groups should have the same uv names. uv_0 and uv_1. If they don't have the same names, it will screw up the mapping on both items. This tutorial has some info about uv mapping and how to move around it (even if it's for accessories, the process is the same). Also you can check this list that points out to all steps mentioned above. If this isn't what you're asking for, please link to the tutorial you're following and the step you're stucked with.

yup before joining them you gotta make sure they have the same uv mapping group name: (uv_0) and (uv_1) if you don't know here where they are
