Hello!
I'm having trouble whenever I add parts to a mesh that should move with butt slider (bows, back of pants, etc.) I can't get them to move, and they always end up clipping into the model. I've tried copying the weight of the vertices of stock models, but even with 1.0 weight in b_Pelvis the new mesh doesn't move with the butt slider.
Can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial that covers this?

Couple of reasons this can happen... - Did you paint the model's vertexes? Tutorial
- Did you create/fix the uv_1? Tutorial

1. No? I'm assigning the vertex weights by hand for now. That tutorial talks about what to do for a something like glasses but doesn't actually tell you *what* you are doing, so I have no idea how to apply it to different CC. 2. The vertices aren't moving. I'm not even worrying about the texture at this point.
EDIT: getting vertex and weight painting confused, looking back into it now.

Okay, confirmed that the models vertexes are painted. Still nothing. No movement of the vertices at all.

...I'm assigning the vertex weights by hand for now... There's no need to do that by hand. TutorialIf you share the .package someone can take a look and give a more detailed response.

The tutorial that brujah linked you will automatically apply all the bones that the original item has to your item accordingly. If you're working with a dress or a long shirt that covers the bottom area then i suggest using a EA simple dress to use as a base to transfer the weight from.

The point of doing things by hand is so I can test a specific vertex with precise parameters. It *does not move* even when it has the right weight on it.
Following the tutorial, nothing happens when I click to transfer weights.

I'm not even trying to get it move *correctly* at this point, I'm tyring to get the vertexes *to move at all.*

I'm trying to make a bunny tail ATM, but I'm just at proof of concept with a sphere. So I've been trying to get NotEgain's cat tail (v2) to work first before I invest the time in doing any real modeling. (v2) for reference. notegain.tumblr.com/post/102386364193/cat-ears-cat-tail it exhibits the same problem.... It moves with the spine0 bone, but does not move with the butt slider. Which works fine for the cat tail because it is long, but won't work with a smaller bunny tail. I've got blender 2.77. I'll try updating. Thanks!

Okay. Weight transfer now works, but I'm still not getting any movement with the butt slider.

"Movements" are done through weight transfer, morphs/sliders are done through uv_1. For that you should check the video tutorial (end of the post) in here.

Man this is confusing. I thought uv was for texturing?
I downloaded the new version of s4s, and now exporting and importing meshes doesn't work :(

Derp NVM, I think I'm getting it, but can't test with broken exporting/importing :/
