Hello! I am super new to creating CC and have no idea how to use Blender, so I ended up downloading a CC package from someone to see how they created Heterochromia eyes- then I recreated my own using their mesh in S4S. The only problem is... when I use the eyes (they are considered facepaint) they end up on both my Sim's face (always in the right spot) AND on certain clothing. It's not always in the same area, either. I've inserted two photos to show you what I'm talking about. There are more shirts that do it, but I'm sure you get the picture, lol. Can someone help me?   |

That mesh WILL conflict with any piece of clothing that uses the "extra parts" (where the uv map from this mesh is) space on the texture. Unfortunately, many many items (EA items) use this.. such as shirts, hoodies.. dresses.. quite some. I'm unsure why she decided to use that space.. but either way, that is written on the description of the eyes on the tsr link.

Alrighty, thank you for explaining. I was wondering if it was something I did. Perhaps she used that space because it was the only way to make two different colored eyes? It must be difficult to do, because I haven't seen any other eyes like this where one is different than the other.

there are some other eyes and those are made by toksik. I'm not sure if she deleted them or not buy you can try and look for them. I'm currently on mobile.

I found them! From what I can tell, it works as long as my Sims aren't wearing rings (that's what they used for the mesh). However, it opens up a bigger selection of color combinations which I am sure people will appreciate lol. Thank you so much.  |

Yeap! We always have to compromise when working with cas items due to the little amount of space available. Eyes are not mapped for each side, but both on one little space of the texture. That's why there's a custom mesh pointing to somewhere else. but i'm glad this works better for you!
