HI, I am not sure what went wrong here, since this is not the first mesh I made but I have done this one over and over but the problem is still the same. I have done the last one with Harmony 7 and I switched to blender 2.70 again. I had the sphere tessellated and then unsettled, but I can not get rid of the blocks once the texture is applied to the mesh. I tried having the color transparent and solid, and it still remains the same. I have used the royal tea set as clone. I hope someone might be able to tell me what I am missing here. Thank you in advance for the help. The file for this bowl is link

It seems that the problem is with your mesh. It has a lot of doubles overlapping in the same space. I went to blender and removed doubles, but since the mesh has not thickness it deletes some of the faces too. I recommend you re-do that part of the mesh. What I would do is the following: 1. Create a uv-sphere and reduce it's polycount from the start choosing a lower segments and rings values. 2. Go into edit mode and chop the sphere to your like. 3. Go to the modifiers and apply a Solidify modifier. This will make your mesh has a little thickness. You can edit the value to your like too. This ways the inner faces wont overlap with the outter ones. Negative thickness values will give it outwards and positive inwards. You would have to re-map that part but I think it's the best work around.

Thank you so much Mathcope, I really do appreciate your looking into this mesh. I will try and see if I can get it right this time. You rock.
