Hi me again I managed to sort out the not showing in S4S problem but now when i put my package in game the hair doesn't show? - i have added bones to the hair I think if i did it right then there should be bones. So now im really stuck as to why its not showing. I am including the package and blender file so if someone could tell me what i've missed i'd be eternally greatful! package blenderfile

hi! Your hair doesn't have any weight applied. Please re do the weight transfer. Also your blend only has 1 group, where it should have 3 (with its different cut numbers: no hat, hat v1, hat v2). You can read about it here, or export a base game hair and study how the blend is composed. If you don't create these other versions, once you place a hat on your sims' head it will revert back to the old mesh.

Yes, you have to pick a mesh hair that is similar to the one you're doing and follow the tutorial.

Have you also assigned correct cuts that correlate with the mesh you're overriding??

Be careful. Current version of S4S (3.0.0.8) is very buggy and mesh explodes when you import any mesh that you did weight transfer on.
That is unless you're transferring weight to a mesh you've created from scratch. In that case it's going to work just fine.
UPDATE: It could be just that I did the weight transfer in a wrong way (the way this function is performed on 2.78 is different from 2.70, which I haven't yet been used to). I'll look more into it. I apologize for possibly providing incorrect information.
