So I was working on my Wonderland Hotel and i went to copy a room then right after tried to delete an ea door. Well the door, when i try to pick it up to delete it, makes a copy of it instead and when i try to use the hammer it says there is nothing to delete. So i was like ok and went to map and when i tried to load my family it kept kicking me back to the map. SO I repaired the game,and deleted cache checked it and it loaded fine when i tried to load the family but then when i tried to load the hotel it kicked me back to map. So i removed the mods folder and i could load into the lot . Now the door that is copying itself instead of deleting is anEA door so I can't remove this door from mods. I am using this door repeatedly in this lot but its only the doors that I had initially "copied" so basically all the bathroom doors in the hotel rooms because i was copying the bathroom and placing the same bathroom in each hotel room. In order to delete the door I have to delete the entire bathroom , a total of 12 bathrooms I don't wanna rebuild individually , I would like to be able to use the copy feature without glitches :( . I has anyone else run into a similar issue as this. i have concluded to save the hotel in my library and just start a new neighborhood ( what a huge blessing it was not on my neighboorhood to begin with ) I am really confused what woulda caused this because even when there is nothing in the mod folder the door behaves this way. Any insight would be awesome.

usually when i read the last exception text pad I can get a "clue" as to what is causing my problem. But my current text pad is the most bizare last exception text yet

ive deleted that save and am going to try to restart it but I am so scared ive ruined my current lot i was building. It's been a 3 week project, this damn hotel and if one broken EA door destroys that I might just friggen cry. If this were a cc issue ( which I can't understand how I had been building for upward of 6 hours with no issues at all and then bam undeleteable door and problems . If it were cc how am I supposed to find something that is corrupting a game if I can't load a lot to test it because even with out cc it will kick me back to map sometimes. I wish I had copied the first exception file it had kept saying door.py and I knew I had the weird issue with the door so I was like okay Ill just remove the door from mods but nope can't do that its an ea door T_T .

so I started with a fresh save and everything seemed to be working, even was able to FINALLY delete the door and replace it with the new save. But when i tried to have the family buy the restaurant i sure enough am back at the map. It's so bizare, im now wondering if this has to be a cc thing ( even though it happens with or without them in the mods and its an EA door) or if i have to accept that my 3 week project is lost and neither of these things are comforting.
so im looking the exception text and its basically saying that removing the door just screws everything up :?

so i have come to the conclusion that my save was corrupted which is why it was kicking me back to map when i took out my mods. Because now i have concluded i cant enter the lot after putting ONLY my wonderland folder in my mods folder so I knew something in there was doing it at that point, in theory. I have narrowed it down to a decorative popcorn cart . when just that thing is in the mod folder i get kicked to map , i put the wonderland folder back in and got it to load so we are now testing the full cc mod folder to see where we go from there. These had to be two separate issues that happened by chance at the same time, it's the only conclusion I can arise to, assuming of course the final test of cc folder works, if it doesnt , im back to squre uno. I really am hopeful it was the machine since i got it to react negatively specifically to that item I sure hope im right this time.
