Hiya!
Today I tried making a free-standing bed canopy and I think it turned out really nice. (Forgot to get a screenshot from game). I first cloned a rug and meshed it to it, but when I got it in-game, you could see the canopy, but it looked funny in that it didn't seem to be in the game at all. It is difficult to explain and I may add pictures, but when I placed a bed under it, the canopy seemed to be floating all around the bed without ever really being a part or near the bed.
SO, after that, I pulled my mesh from the rug, cloned a curtain instead and meshed it to that. Now you can see the canopy okay and the bed looks good beneath it, but the canopy wants to snap-to-wall and I'd rather it didn't since it is a free-standing canopy. /sigh Is there a trick to remove the snap-to?
Which brings me to my last issue. The bed frame I made cannot be placed without using the bb.moveobjects cheats which makes me think it will not be any good as a bed. I haven't live-tested it yet because with all my cc, my game now takes forever to load and I just now started loading it (usually I test my objects with little or no other cc), so I guess my question would be what is the best object to clone for a bed FRAME (no mattress)?
Thanks!!!

Curtain - warehouse - Object catalog - untick the both the edge against wall and adjust height on wall. Probably want to untick the repeat placement too
Bed - any deco object you want. I usually use the tissue box or a garden gnome for most things. You can just put it back in beds category via the tags.

Oh thank you MrS! You're awesome!
And I didn't realize you could use the tissue box for the bed. I thought they would still 'see' it as an object and wouldn't be able to use the mattress. Excellent to know as most everything I now make is from that poor tissue box. Haha!

It will still be an object (although you can change that too) If you just want to sit a mattress on top, it only has to be an object.

Works like a charm, MrS! Thanks yet again. I think I need to scale it a little so that it fits with some beds better, but I liiike, and no more snap-to-wall.
