Is there any way to make say pants see through, so the sim's underwear is visable? Just curious.

hi! You have to edit the alpha channel, and move the UV map of the item elsewhere so that it's not over the skin. You can read about it here.

Where it says to join the meshes. I'm trying to make a skirt where the underwear is seeable.

You need to start with a nude bottom and then append the skirt mesh. You shift click each group and press "join" to make them be on one group.

You have to first, open the nude blend you export for the package to check the group you want to append. Then open your skirt in blender, go to "file / append / (look for your nude blend) / object / and the group you want to append". Remember to remove doubles like it is explained in step 16.

once you click the "object" folder as I explained on my last post, you're going to see all the elements of the blend file you're trying to add. camera, lights, rig.. and mesh groups. that's why I mentioned opening the ea blend before doing this do you know which of the groups is the one that has the mesh part you want.
