Hey all!
I'm a 3d game artist working in 3dsmax. Unfortunately I have to work with blender for S4studio. I made several models in 3dsmax but it's a long process to get the right model to blender. I've been searching for a while for 3dsmax to S4studio conversion, but I can't get the right answers. However, I accomplished to get the model from max to S4studio, but the UV map still has the UV map from the original sims model.
So still a few questions: - How do I get my own uv map to S4Studio from 3dsmax? I exported the model as a fbx, but sims 4 studio shows the uv map of the original mesh. The exported uv map from the fbx doesn't update, so I still see an old uv map in blender. - Any other steps I need to do to get the uv map right? I'm not familiar with Blender so I don't know anything about uv mapping in blender.
After that I just want to add my created maps (diffuse, normal, specular) to the model so this is the only step I'm struggling with. My model from 3dsmax is working in S4studio, so the only thing I need to know is about how to get the uv map and other maps right.

I'm sorry if this isn't helpful, since i've never worked with 3dsmax. But can't you just export it as obj, and import it in blender? It keeps the UV that way. Then depending on the item, you follow the guides that are on the tutorials section.

Thanks for the help! I'll try that settings. There isn't any other step I need to do to get it in S4studio, right?

You need to export it into blender and save it as a .blend for studio. Blender is needed for a go between.
