I really like a lot of the new build / buy items ect, but I don't want vampires or forgotten hollow in my game. I think the team did a great job, but I don't want to look at them in my game on a regular basis. I was thinking about buying the pack, then making the items I want into a cc file and then uninstalling the pack. I only want to do this for my own personal use. Is this possible?
I can't be the only one with this dilemma...
Does anyone else feel this way?

I've heard others express this same sentiment, as well as, the sentiment that while vampires are fine, EA made them too intrusive.
There was discussion somewhere of how to prevent the "vampire invasion" of vampire sneaking into your Sims' homes at night and biting them. Basically you delete the "vlad" the head vampire the second it happens and that stops the story progression. There are also already at least a couple mods at Mod the Sims to keep vampires in the Forgotten Hollow.

Thanks for the reply Merry927. Yes, I know about deleting Vlad. Someone also made a garlic mod that effectively deters vampires as well. I honestly just want a few buid / buy items and a few things from CAS, like that Victorian dress, for example. It's so pretty! Would it be possible to turn the few items I want into cc and just uninstall the game pack? There's no hurry, but I'm just curious to know if it's possible. I'm going to tag orangemittens because I have a feeling that she'll know the answer to this question, but I'm happy to get an answer from anyone.

Why don't you just try it?

Merry927 because I don't own the pack, and if it's not possible, I don't think that I would buy it.
