Hello everyone. I just downloaded SIMS4STUDIO and was playing around. My plan is on making a skin. The Question is how. I began making it using the tatto method. is this the right method and will the lipsticks and make up work with my skin if someone is planning on adding some extra ones ?? also i was searching for the UV map of the skin. I only found a small picture of it and it's not available any more. if someone could provide me the UV MAP i would really appreciate it. Any further tips about skins and its creations would be amazing to have.

You can use the skin detail method here or if you want to make a skin tone here As for uv mapping, this might be helpful here.

Hello Harlyn ! Welcome to the forum! I suggest using skin detail as a base, such as freckles, forehead crease, moles (there are a few categories that you can assign your skin detail too once when you done), this way you will be able to use it with tattoos and lipsticks. If you use lipstick slot, you won't be able to use lipsticks. There is also a technical side of custom skintone overlays (the one that you can find in skin detail category in CAS), it's a number in composition method. Read about it here. You can create a skin detail that will blend with EA's skin (your detail has to have composition method to be set to 3 and it should be 2-toned gray & white), search for Ms_Blue Lauruna Skin to see an example. Or you can make your skin in regular tone and set composition method to 0, search for FashionRoyaltySims Adriana SKIN to see what it looks like. I recommend extracting textures of custom skintones and looking at them so you can get an idea what it suppose to look like. Long time ago I made uv map where I used a top, so this uv map has a line on breasts. It's not a uv map of naked sim, but it looks the same. There are 4 color variants. Whatever works for you . Thank you Kiara and Feyona. The UV MAPS you provided is exactly what i have been looking for. now i don't really want to make a skin to overlay with the EA Base. i want my skin to be fully on it's own. so i don't think i will be working with overlays for now.
