I don't know if it's just my computer or the game itself, but my lights, any lights are ridiculously bright! I've tried turning them down using the in game dimmer, that didn't help much, it makes the room dull and gloomy and not very appealing to take screen shots, but if I turn it up it causes the white colors to wash out and not be able to see details and also creates a tremendously bright halo on the walls and ceiling to the point of camouflaging the pattern on the wall where the light shines on it.
I turned down my lights in settings to low and that didn't help much either.
Any suggestions and ideas would be great!
Thanks in advance!

Hi! I don't know if this would be of any help, but I use this mod from the beginning, so I don't really know how it would look without it to be honest.. But maybe it will help a bit: ImprovedLighting_V7Although EA updated their own in-game light too some time ago, but I think that one was only about light that comes from the moon/sun. Are you talking about original Sims 4 lights by the way or Custom Content?

Great! I'll try that mod and see. And, I'm talking pretty much about any lights. I have a few that are barely lit, more for deco purposes and night functional. And, the invisible lights from the game or terrible! I really wanted to just use them to not clutter up my walls or ceilings, but I can't, those are glaringly white.
